Teaching

Teaching in the church

Teaching is a vital ministry of the church.  The early church continued steadfastly in “doctrine” (Acts 2:41).  The Great Commission concludes with this command “teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:20).  We encourage everyone to faithfully participate in the opportunities to hear God’s Word preached and taught

Worship Services

What a joy to be taught the Word through both the singing and preaching of the Word.  On a typical Sunday Service you will hear one of our pastors preaching an expository message from the Word of God.  During the service, parents are welcome to keep their children with them and experience the joy of worshiping together as a family.  A nursery is also available for moms to take their children as needed.

Men's Meeting

Saturdays once a month at 7:30 a.m.
On one Saturday morning each month, all men and boys are invited to a time of fellowship, encouragement, and prayer in the fellowship hall.  The men interact with the Scriptures as they seek to apply God’s Word to their lives.  After the meeting, most of the men usually head out for a time of continued encouragement at breakfast.  This ministry has been the catalyst for some men to begin further discipleship opportunities with other men.

TheoFam Conference

TheoFam is an annual family conference to reclaim God's design for the family. The purpose of this conference is to encourage and strengthen families to fulfill their God designed role of knowing God’s Word and making Him known in their own family, in the family of God, and in the world.

Woman to Woman

There are several opportunities for ladies to receive biblical teaching.  Each year our State Fellowship offers a ladies retreat with a main speaker and workshops.  Our church usually hosts a ladies event each Spring in which one of our ladies shares a message.  There are also Women Bible studies offered at various times throughout the year as well as one on one discipleship opportunities available for our ladies.
